The Kusi Wawa Method against baby gases

Please see the tutorial video bellow of how to use the Kusi Wawa Method to calm your little angel, and regain the peace at home.
Why does the Kusi Wawa Method work?
In Kusi Wawa we have found that it usually is a mixture of physical discomfort and emotional exhaustion.
In Kusi Wawa, we accompany the baby relieving physical pain naturally while offering the emotional support that baby needs to relax.
These are the factors that we deal with the Kusi Wawa method
o Wawa Band: Treats the physical factors of pain that gases produce. The thermal cushion produces heat in the abdominal area. Heat acts as an analgesic when there is a focus of pain. At the same time, it activates the circulation so, applied in the gastric and hypogastric zones, it stimulates the good functioning of the stomach and the intestines, helping to expel gases. The cushion of the Wawa Band is the only one that has an anti-burn safety device.
o Wawa Wrap: The Wawa Wrap is designed to give the emotional support that the baby needs to end up relaxing. We use the piece to swaddle the baby to give him the comfort he felt when he was still in the mother's belly. This combined with the arms, the contact, the songs of mom ... they are infallible!
The Kusi Wawa Method is an active method that we can use when the baby starts crying. However, during the day we can also perform a series of preventive actions that favor the baby's rest and, therefore, reduce the intensity of colic. Performing a daily massage favors intestinal transit and promotes contact. Carrying helps to relax the child and improve their sleep time. Routines are important to establish a foundation that will help your baby feel more secure. All this, or even combining it with physiotherapy or osteopath treatments, are wonderful strategies to help the little ones to pass this time. You can find more information here in the BLOG.

1. Dress your baby with pajama.
Help yourself with a small prior routine to give security and comfort to your baby, such as a bath, a massage, a song...
2. Prepare the Wawa Band.
3. Surround the baby’s body with the Wawa Band and close it with the velcro.
* Place the band on top of baby’s belly, turn it around the back and return to the belly to close it. When you close the Wawa Band, make sure it is firmly attached to the body of the baby (without applying pressure). Thanks to the Velcro closure and built-in rubber in the back, the Wawa Band should be well adapted and subejcta the baby's body. The thermal pad should be placed on the belly of the baby with the opening in the upper pocket.
4. Take the thermic cussion out of the Wawa Band.
5. Put the thermic cussion in the microwave for 15 seconds. **
Based on an 800Watts microwave.
6. Make sure the thermic cussion is not too hot with the ANTI BURN system to avoid burning the baby.
Never heat the cussion inside the Wawa Band. You will find the Anti Burn system instructions included with the Wawa Band purhcase
7. Return the cussion back to the Wawa Band.
8. Apply Dr Harvey Karp’s 5S theory.
Swaddle. Wrap the baby with the Wawa Wrap.
See the tutorial in the beggining of the page.
9. Side or Stomach. Place the baby in stomach position.
10. Swing or Sush. Swing and make a white noise for your baby.
11. Suck. Suction can help your baby relax.
** Never heat the cussion inside the Wawa Band, as the band contains metal pieces that can break the microwave.
*** If your baby falls asleep with the Wawa Wrap, please make sure the room is at 18-22*C to avoid overheating.
