Baby colic routines

Baby colic routines
Many times when we talk to the guys who are going through this hard time, I always emphasize the importance of establishing routines. The same Kusi Wawa method is a routine in itself, where after using it several days in a row the baby already learns that it helps him to feel better. This way, we get you to relax faster every day.

But I realized that much of the information we transmit in private consultations we do not transmit on our website. So today I'm going to tell you about the ROUTINES. In capital letters, because it can save more than one life. And to do it I will do it in the most personal way I can think of. I will tell you the routine that we followed with our daughter. And from there, I hope we can give ideas to other parents on how to establish their routines. I want to make it clear that this is a personal post and that we do not have to take what we say. Each family is different and things that worked for me may not work for others. But the idea is to find what works for you and automate it.

When my daughter had colic I was enjoying low maternal, so I was all day enjoying it. She was a case of colic. Every day I started to cry between 6 and 7 in the afternoon and could spend 5 hours crying. Until at last she fell exhausted (and so did we).

During the day she slept very little. Her naps were a blink of an eye. It seemed like a second. But hey, who at most slept 20 minutes in a row. Then he would wake up and party! I could not stand the stroller and the crib. So we spent most of the day porting. This way, she was also calmer and relaxed. Otherwise, if we did not carry her, she would spend the day awake and restless. And as we all well know, unlike adults, the worse a baby sleeps during the day, the less sleep at night. So try to make it to the night as relaxed as possible.
As a preventive method, we did massages every day. As the time of day when she was calmer was in the morning, that was the best time of day to apply this routine. So when our little girl woke up to eat, we gave her breast and bibi; And let us spend a little time. Then between 10 and 11 we were ready to do the whole massage routine. In our case, the moment of the shower was good for us at night so we did the massage without going through the shower. It was an experience in itself. But for example, for those babies who do not like the shower at night. The morning can be a good time to bathe them too! No rules! Here the rules we put with our little ones!

Elisa was doing very well at that time and was calm and fell asleep a little later. Then when we woke up we ate and after eating we used to make a walk. If it was very hot, we kept it for a little later in the afternoon.
We tried to take a shower before the cramps began, so in the middle of the afternoon we prepared our bath. And then, to which the 'terrific' hour was approaching, we were preparing. Routine of the Kusi Wawa Method, chest + bibi and to sleep! Thanks to the routine of the Kusi Wawa Method, we got her to calm down in half an hour (instead of the 5 hours she cried at first) and after a month or so Elisa was already so used to the routine that she did not need to Nor apply the entire method. With the warmth and to hold her in her arms, she calmed down.
